Talent Management
As part of the Moncler Genius program, ICNCLST facilitated a cross-disciplinary collaboration between audio designer Devon Turnbull of OJAS, fashion icon Nigo, and Mercedes-Benz to create the Past II Future G-Wagon in Shanghai. The goal was to merge automotive design, fashion, and audio innovation in a way that honored the iconic ‘90s G-Class while introducing a forward-looking artistic vision.
Execution
The vehicle featured sleek silver and military green hues, Moncler-covered spare wheel, and bold orange accents. OJAS contributed a signature speaker system with custom fabrication mounted on the convertible top. ICNCLST coordinated the collaboration, ensuring the seamless integration of design, fashion, and audio elements, while planning for a limited-edition release in April 2025 with two-tone paint and checkered upholstery that extended the art piece into production.
Cultural Impact
The project positioned Moncler Genius and Mercedes-Benz at the intersection of luxury, art, and innovation. By blending Nigo’s fashion sensibility, OJAS's audio expertise, and Mercedes-Benz’s automotive heritage, the G-Wagon became a cultural statement celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and forward-thinking design.
