ICNCLST led the creative and strategic execution for Timberland’s 50th anniversary initiative, FUTURE73. The program brought together world-class creatives to reimagine Timberland’s iconic 6-inch boot (10061), celebrating the brand’s heritage while providing a platform for contemporary artistic vision.
Execution
FUTURE73 featured contributions from A-COLD-WALL’s Samuel Ross, CLOT’s Edison Chen, Nina Chanel Abney, Humberto Leon, Christopher Raeburn, and Suzanne Oude Hengel. ICNCLST collaborated with Timberland to develop the naming convention, FUTURE73, and the tagline, “Our Legacy. Their Vision.” The team created the program’s visual identity—including logo, typography, colors, and packaging—executed copywriting, and devised the overall program strategy. The FUTURE73 collection launched in March and will continue to release throughout the year alongside a series of cultural activations.
Cultural Impact
FUTURE73 honored Timberland’s legacy while amplifying the work of contemporary creatives. By combining heritage, innovation, and artistic collaboration, the program reinforced Timberland’s position at the intersection of culture, fashion, and creative expression.
