Focus
ICNCLST co-concepted and co-produced a New York-specific campaign to coincide with Tommy Hilfiger’s return to NYFW after three years. The campaign aimed to parallel the runway show, drawing inspiration from Andy Warhol’s Factory while celebrating authentic voices and creativity in New York City.
Execution
Photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis captured the campaign’s protagonists, dubbed Future Makers, through her signature portraiture style that emphasized authenticity. Featured participants included Vashtie, Jerome Lamaar, Becky Akinyode, Craig Costello (KRINK), Christina Paik, and Shaniqwa herself. Paid media placements across the streets of NYC amplified the campaign, highlighting each subject’s individuality and creative impact.
Cultural Impact
The campaign celebrated the intersection of fashion, art, and cultural influence, showcasing New York’s creative community in an honest, visually compelling way. By centering authentic storytelling and contemporary cultural figures, the initiative reinforced Tommy Hilfiger’s commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and relevance in today’s cityscape.
